So I will never get a picture of this but had to share a couple of stories of Carter and Cedar.
-The other day I was cooking lunch. I was just right around the corner in the kitchen, Cedar was asleep on the couch on the boppy pillow and Carter and Calla were playing. I heard Cedar let out this terrible cry so I ran in there. He was already right back to sleep but I find Carter had stolen his blanket and replaced it with a tractor that he shoved down between the baby and his pillow. Carter was standing there with the blanket looking like Linus from charlie brown, just smiling away and Cedar was sleeping with his tractor.
-This morning I took Carter out of his high chair after breakfast and he always runs right to the baby. Cedar was in the bouncer on the kitchen floor. He was awake, smiling, and happy. He had spit out his paci and it was beside his face. Of course Carter grabbed it up. I expected him to shove it in his own mouth but instead he looked at it and looked at Cedar, turned it around and grabbed it by the handle and gently tried to put it back in Cedar's mouth. All the while chatting away. (I only wish I knew what he was saying!) Soooo cute. And of course the camera is never around when I need it.

Still March 2010
Calla showing an interest in her baby brother. She really does like him but these sweet moments are usually followed by her trying to climb in the swing on top of him or bouncing him too hard in the bouncer.
3-25 Cedar loves his granddaddy!
Yes, Still March
3-24 Cedar getting burped by daddy. How quickly we forget what its like to have a baby to burp... He is a good burper and spits up what I believe to be a normal amount.
3-21 This is a picture out our from window when it snowed spring break. It would be spring break without 10 inches of snow in Fayetteville. Luckily it was gone and warm again in no time at all.
3-20- Hannah came to play. It is already pretty clear that she is very interested in Carter. She beats up on him, which is great, since he is always beating up on Calla. He likes to touch her pig tails. It is so fun having such good friends across the street and to have our children be the same age, we could not ask for better!
March Continued
3-19- One afternoon, it was super nice outside and my mom and I took the opportunity to get the kids out in the sun. Since our backyard at the time was super poopy (dogs), we went to the front yard. Put a quilt on the ground and took some toys. Calla wanted to explore so she went crawling in the grass. They are still not that great walking in shoes so this was practice time. It was also practice in walking in grass. New experiences all the way around.

Box cars
3/14 - This is what happens when you take a set of twins, their daddy, and two empty diaper boxes. This never gets old and we love to hear all the laughter. I hope it makes you smile too!
March Continued...
On March 14th, my family came over to celebrate some birthdays. Mom mother's birthday is the 14th of March. Our two nephews, Cade and Austin, birthdays were in February, the 15th and 17th. With Cedar being born on the 19th, I am sure you can figure out why we missed celebrating them then. It was a lot of fun and we don't all get together near enough! March 14th is also Uncle Rusty's birthday who lives in Galveston, TX.
Cedar meeting his Uncle Aaron for the first time. Look at that hair. It is crazy hair. I'm glad he is a boy and not a girl with that hair! Course he did just have a bath right before this picture, sticks up more when clean. :-)
3/14 - Now I cant remember if this was before everyone came over or after they left, but I had to take this pitiful picture of Calla. When we brought baby Cedar home this is the face we had to look at for about the first 5 weeks or so. Calla and Carter were extremely jealous and anytime Jamey or I held the baby this is the face we would get from Calla, just breaks your heart! Luckily this did get better and now she loves him and really doesn't care if we are holding him or if I am feeding him. Thank God for small miracle, don't know how much more of these sad faces we could have dealt with!
3/13
And then of course we are very happy to regularly get to see this sweet face! Cedar is three weeks old in this picture. Still wearing newborn clothes here but growing fast!
