Photo Shoot

On August 4th we went to our first real professional photos. The actual first didn't count because it was a nightmare! Don't take babies to Bedford Camera and Video! So this time they were a little older and we went to a better, more baby friendly place. It was awesome! Calla decided that she loved the camera and did very well. Carter was a little upset most of the time but between 5 of us, (Jamey, myself, grandmommy, and two photographers) we got some great smiles out of him! We were so proud of them for the great job they did. Here are some of our favorites.

Dont have a clue how to turn that around, sorry!

Again, sorry its sideways.

And once again, sideways.

Cute Pics After Vacation

These kids sleep the craziest ways!

Sippy cups! They love them, well as a toy anyway. It is just a bonus if they actually get a drink. Calla likes to go at it from the top. Carter has it a little more figured out.

Our trip to the ballpark to watch daddy play softball.

Wow she does look like me!

Sitting on the couch like big people is so much fun!

Calla does love that brother!

Carters favorite toy, the frog. Thanks Maw-Maw!

A True Miracle!

The day that we left for vacation we discovered that we once again were expecting! Considering our history in this area, we believed that it was not possible so you can imagine our surprise! After the initial shock wore off we are so super excited! This is a true miracle baby and only God could have given us this opportunity to have and love another child! The reactions from our families consisted of mostly laughter due to the fact that the twins will only be 14 months old when this one is born. (OMG is right!) I am 11 week 1 day today and the believed due date is March 3rd! These are really terrible pictures but they are the first of our newest addition to the family so they are beautiful to us! As of now the baby is known to us as #3 and we love him or her to pieces already!

You've come a long way babies!

These are pictures that I just got developed and could not believe my eyes. We left a camera in the NICU so that the nurses could take pictures of the babies if they did something cute while we were not there. They only took two picture and here they are. Our babies were soooo tiny! It is amazing to me that they are so healthy and happy today! This is Calla, she was literally the size of that nurses hand!
And Carter, can you believe that the 20 pound chunk we have today was EVER that little. God sure has been good to them and to us! We are so blessed, more and more every day!

Cute pics from Vacation

"Naughty"

"Nice"

Fun in the pool!

Carter and Calla did not really like the ocean. We did go down there a few times, but I think that it was just a little big and loud for them. The pool at the condo we stayed at was heated so to the kids it was one huge bathtub. They loved it. The first day they just really floated and relaxed taking it all in but by the last time we were in the pool they were splashing and really having a good time. Carter's floaty was the perfect one for him. He grabbed the steering wheel and honked the horn. I see some speeding in his future, after all he is a Bowling male. :-) or maybe I should put :-( for the nervous mommy to think of him driving, ever!

Calla loved hers too! She just would sit back and relax. She just enjoyed the day and the action around her.

Family Fun!

The Bowling's have a huge extended family. Carter and Calla got to meet the majority of them at the coast this year. It was so much fun. Here are some pics of the family. Didn't get everyone in them unfortunately, but we had a great time with the ones not pictured also!

Carter and Uncle Mitch. Uncle Mitch and Uncle Rusty both made this great Ducky sound that neither mommy or daddy can do. It gave us such great giggles out of Carter Bug.

Grandmommy and Carter. Carter started really teething this week and he took every opportunity to chew on ANYTHING that he could grab. Grandmommy was the target in this pic. His first tooth was his bottom right.

Calla and Aunt Jane. Aunt Carol and Uncle Bob are in the background.
