Week Three

3/11 - Cedar three weeks old. Look at that hair. Granddaddy calls it "hog hair". We like it, just means that he had already chosen to be a razorback for life (not an Aggie, sorry Bowling's). He loves trying to hold his head up here.

3/10- Who doesn't drink their juice in a ball pit?
3/10 - Maw-Maw, thank god for her, come to "play", which really means that she is there for me to keep from loosing my mind. She has been a big help. We love her very much!

3/10 - Sweet baby Cedar

3/8- The twins love windows. We open the one in their room when it is nice outside and they love to watch the world outside. Whenever they see people or animals it is a fun treat. Carter likes to talk to them. We get some waves from walkers, too cute. The hat on Calla's head was an attempt to stop Carter from pulling her hair. This has become his new favorite pass time. He is very jealous of the baby and his attention seeking is mostly at Calla's expense. This hat did work that day, then she decided it was more fun to pull it off every time it was put on.

3/8 - The miracle hat for the day.

3/6 - Our good friend Judy came over for a huge favor! Carter has only had one haircut and it really did go OK, but with a tiny baby now, it would be super hard to take him anywhere to get it done. So Judy came over and cut his hair. She gave him something to play with and he did very well. He is sitting on the dining room table. We needed to use if for something right?

3/6 - While Carter and Calla got their hair cuts, Holly had some one on one Cedar time. He must like her, not a peep out of him.

3/6 - When we were done with Carter she suggested that we trim Calla's hair as well so that it will grow better. We are wanting it to grow out and get some weight on those too tight curls. Calla was great at first, playing with the comb and looking around.
And then.......
3/6 - She changed her mind.

On Feb 23rd the twins went in for their twelve month shots (we are a little behind). Cedar was also back that day to check his weight since he lost so much to begin with. He got down to 6lb 5oz if I remember right. I never got around to posting their stats.
Carter
Weight 25lb 2.5oz
Height 29.5 inches
Calla
Weight 18lb 9.5oz
Height 28.25 inches
Cedar
Weight 6lb 15oz
Height 19.5 inches

Week Two

Well, this three kid thing is officially the hardest thing we have ever done! The biggest challenge we have faced. We love it, however, we are exhausted! The twins are super jealous and needing lots of our attention right now. So trying to hold three at a time is just not possible, especially after a c-section. I will say that maw-maw, my mother, is an angel and has been so helpful to us! We had several visitors this week to meet our newest addition. Here are a few highlights of the week.
3-4 - Calla discovered that she could climb under the shelf in her room. She would crawl in and then crawl back out to get her snugly or a toy, then put it in there and crawl back in with it. Very entertaining.

3*4 Sweet smiles!

3/4 - Sweet baby Cedar sleeping. This is most of what he does right now, sleep, eat, and dirty his diapers. I forgot how easy tiny babies are. He does scratch his face on occasion so here his little hands are covered. He is really looking just like daddy!

3/3 - Cousin Cade holding his smallest cousin for the first time. Cade is a good baby holder. I do think that he gets a little bored and would rather play with Carter and Calla instead.

3/2 - Jamey was watching the twins and he had left the room, came back to find that Calla had crawled into this tiny little tote basket. She really likes to crawl into things right now, the only trouble she has is getting out.

3/2 - Our friend Allison came by to meet Cedar. Carter showed out all evening, he had the best time with her. Calla too, and she is the shy one. Allison brought us pizza, which was amazing! Thanks Allison, it was great to see you!

3/2 - I only had to take 8 pictures in a row to catch this sweet smile. He smiles a lot, of course not meaningful, but sweet just the same. I could stare at him for hours. We are so blessed to have such amazing children!

2/26 - Sweetest face! He sees the camera these days and gets really close and smiles.

2/26 - This is a face I have posted before, but I love it! She makes this face when she is really happy and having a really good time, so when I see it I know things are really good in her eyes. It is very heart warming. ( And yes, for those of you who knew me in high school, its looking like she not only looks like me but she may have gotten my teeth also :-( )
