End of October 2010

10-31-2010
Our own little tradition now, we get together with our friends the LeClerc's across the street and go traveling the neighborhood. We still didn't try to trick or treat this year but I know next year will be super fun! Hannah wanted to ride in the wagon with the twins, so she sat on Carter's lap. He didn't seem to mind. They all had a great time!

Carter was a giraffe. He didn't mind his costume, seemed to like it.

Cedar and our pumpkin.

10-31-10 Cedar's first Halloween. I think he likes being a monkey!

10-30-10 The day before Halloween our friend Jenny had all of the kids over for a little costume party. It was a lot of fun. It is still soooo much work to take the three of them anywhere and adding getting them to stay in costume on top of that was a challenge. Every time I turned around Calla had taken hers off. This is a pic of all of our happy little children. Oh, the things we make them do... :-)

10-30-10- Calla did not really like to keep her nose in place but she was still a super cute elephant!

10-30-10 Our friends Campbell and Turner with Cedar. They are all very close in age. I do believe Cedar stole Turners pumpkin and looks like he is proud of it! Sorry Turner!

10*25*10 Cedar at this point was getting on all fours and rocking, but still not crawling. I love how excited children get when they do new things, too cute!

10*23*10 Cedar's first haircut. I actually cut his hair awhile back because he had all these crazy long pieces on the top, but this is his first real haircut. He actually did really well.

October 23, 2010 - Pumpkin Patch

On October 23rd, my mom helped me take the kids to get their hair cut. I still find it impossible to leave my house alone with my children and dont see an end to that in sight. I see people all the time with three kids or even more in the stores or mall and they are fine, BUT i have yet to see anyone with three the ages of mine. SOOOOO, I think I am ok. One of these days it will work, but not anytime soon. It is just too hard and is not worth the fuss and stress. So anyway we set off to get their hair cut and after we went by her church's pumpkin patch for some pictures and pumpkins. Carter and Calla enjoyed trying to pick them all up and of course moving them from their original locations. Carter really wanted to pull Calla and Cedar around in the wagon. He did get it to move a little bit a few times but did better pushing it than pulling it.

Love this picture, she makes this sweet expression often.

LOVE this one TOO!

October 2010- more of

10-21-10
My Blond haired blue eyed boys! They look so much alike, both just like daddy! I am so glad they love each other and I hope they continue to! Carter is always trying to give him things. Mostly things he cant have, like his snacks or his milk. And he loves his milk so this is how I know he loves his brother.
10-21-10
Our sweet children. Gods true blessings! I still wonder how we got so lucky.

10-20-10 I was cleaning the kitchen one morning and look into the living room to see this coming my way. Too funny!

10-20-10 Cedar

10-17-10 Cedar really likes the wind in his hair. The twins were helping daddy plant a tree to replace the ones that we let die, ooops, and cedar held his sand rake up to help too!

10-17-10 Hey three out of six were still alive so I am thinking that is not too bad! Carter took this process of replanting very seriously. He would drag the shovel around the yard and of course his best friend the water hose made his appearance as well.

10-17-10 Calla helped by taking the soil out of the bag and putting it into the plastic container that the tree came out of. She was very proud of herself. They really love to help us do things. Except of course the things that I would like them to do, such as put their books on the shelf and keep them there and picking up their toy, etc, etc.
